Reporting to:   Headteacher

Lionheart school is a pupil referral unit that supports some of the most vulnerable young people on the island. An exciting opportunity now exists for a Deputy Headteacher to be responsible for managing the following areas:

• On-site Medical Provision
• Off-site Medical Provision
• Medical Provision
• Operational/Strategic
• Deployment of Trauma Informed therapies
• Development of Speech and Language therapies

Lionheart school provides a stimulating and nurturing environment for a range of students who for a variety of reasons are unable to attend mainstream schools. This could be due to medical needs, being emotionally vulnerable or having social and emotional difficulties.

The school aims to be a Trauma Informed and Therapeutic centre of excellence working with children their parents and home schools.
